A beautiful ending to a beautiful day in Encinitas. Hanging out with the Fake Family was a blessing and they really know how to have fun!

Celebration of Chants

Sooo, I just got my new lens from Adorama and thought I would head over to Stone Steps and see if I can take some photos of the sunset and reflections or whatever came my way. There was a group of people on the beach standing around the word that was written in the sand, CHANTS. Soon, a young woman called up to me as I stood on the landing above the beach and ask me if I would take photos for them. She told me her friends dog (CHANTS) died and they were there to celebrate his life and spread his ashes. I said "sure!" and took a group shot then some candids. Suddenly, magic happened and here are a few photographs from that beautiful late afternoon on the last day of February...

One last good-bye...
Chants must have been one heck-uv-a dog and friend...
I realise I was privilaged to be there to witness such love and energy. Thank you camera gods and thank you Chants!
Until next time....

Veronica, Willie & Family | Glen Arbor Park, Murrieta CA

I had the distinct pleasure of capturing some amazing and fun moments with this beautiful family. Glen Arbor Park in Murrieta was the setting. The late afternoon sun was perfect as was the love they all have for each other.

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your Service to our country, Willie!

Thank you, thank you, thank you for your incredible Strength, especially when he is gone, Veronica!

And a triple Thank You to the girls who made me smile...a lot!

Special Moments While the Sun is Setting... | Encinitas Photographer

I had just finished a photo shoot with another family at Moonlight Beach in Encinitas when I decided to capture a few sunset moments. These two just happened as I scanned the horizon in my viewfinder. I don't know who they are, I don't know their story. I just know they were enjoying a sunset like no other that day. Good for them! Good for me!
